Amy Roberts In 2009, at a press conference in Turkey, President Barack Obama made the following statement about America and Christianity:

"One of the great strengths of the United States is ... we have a very large Christian population. We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Jewish nation, or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."

John McCain, the Republican presidential candidate and Arizona senator, said pretty much the same thing during the 2008 U.S. presidential election. McCain called the U.S. a "Judeo-Christian valued nation." | Answered 25 days ago

Did President Obama make the right decision in relieving General Stanley McChrystal of his Afghan command?

  Details
Michael Hoff Bringing in Gen. David Petraeus was the smartest thing to do. President Obama made the right decision by ousting Gen. Stanley McChrystal. There is no excuse for mouthing off about the Commander-in-Chief. Gen. McChrystal had to go! | Answered 1 month ago

Dorothy Camden answered the question | 1 month ago

Did President Obama make the right decision in relieving General Stanley McChrystal of his Afghan command?

  Details
Dorothy Camden President Barack Obama had no other choice. He did the right thing by firing General McChrystal. McChrystal was a good General who committed some terrible indiscretions. It became almost impossible for President Obama to defend Gen. McChrystal in this situation. Actually, I believe, it was a "home run" for President Obama. He definitely scored some points with the American public with this one. President Barack Obama's decision to replace General McChrystal with General David Petraeus was a "Masterstroke". Job well done, Mr. President! | Answered 1 month ago
